Breathe.

Today, before you reach exhaustion, before you are cranky and upset- stop - just for 30 seconds. Put both hands on the wall in front of you, and inhale slowly to the count of 5, hold for the count of 5 and exhale to the count of 5.
Why: putting your hands on the wall grounds you. Counting narrows your cognitive function to something small and manageable. Breathing in and out slowly activates your para sympathetic nervous system and relaxes your body, releasing stored tension.
